1990
HOSPICE MINISTRY BEGINS
The Agape Fellowship was formed to increase awareness of hospice ministry in Methodist churches. This was subsequently renamed Methodist Hospice Fellowship.
1991
ADDING ANOTHER FAMILY SERVICE CENTRE
Tampines Family Service Centre was set up at Blk 470 Tampines St 44 in partnership with Pentecost Methodist Church.
1993
COMMUNITY ELDERCARE TAKES ROOT
The Bukit Batok Senior Citizens’ Activity Centre, a joint project with Bukit Panjang Methodist Church, began operations.
1994
CHARIS STUDENT CARE CENTRE OPENS
The Centre was officially opened by Mr Othman Eusoffe, then Member of Parliament for Marine Parade.

MWS UNVEILS OFFICIAL LOGO
A new logo was designed for MWS, where the “M” supporting the Cross reminds all of our mission to lift up the Cross of Jesus so that all may be drawn to Him (John 12:32); the “W” is a reflection of “M” and reminds us that our mission is reflected through our concern for the welfare of the needy in our community (Isaiah 58:7); and the “S” tells us that such concern is to be translated into service as an expression of our faith in God (Titus 3:8).
1996
OUTREACH TO DISTRESSED FAMILIES & THE DESTITUTE EXTENDS FURTHER
An MOU was signed with Paya Lebar Methodist Church for a community outreach partnership with Covenant Family Service Centre. In the same year, MWS also signed an MOU with Christ Methodist Church to partner Christalite Methodist Home, which officially opened in 1997.
1999
MWS FURTHER EXTENDS ITS SERVICE TO THE YOUNG
MWS signed an MOU with Barker Road Methodist Church for Methodist Children & Youth Centre; and with Hinghwa Methodist Church for D‘Joy Children’s Centre. Daybreak Family Service Centre was also officially opened.
1999
BETHANY METHODIST NURSING HOME OPENS
The 282-bed Bethany Methodist Nursing Home opened at Choa Chua Kang and residents of the Methodist Home for the Aged Sick relocated to the new nursing home.
